Why are legislators spending time on this when we are not scheduling convention of states? Penalties after the fact will do nothing to solve the problem of what the delegate did! We would be living with the results during that penalty phase. It's like saying we'll put the toothpaste into the tube after it's squeezed out....we have a constitution that should be followed. Opening up the constitution is unnecessary. Please return to penalties for adults making porn available to minors or eminent domain protections.

Please vote NO to this bill. We should follow the Constitution we already have. Until we do that, there is no need for an Article V Convention. First, there is a concern for a runaway convention. Second, if we cant follow the Constitution we already have, why would any amendments made to it by an Article V convention be followed as well?

I agree with Linda Carlson, above. Please leave the current Constitution as is. Give Pres. Trump his 4 years to straighten out a lot of the corruption in our current gov't so it is not as 'oppressive' as it has been. Enforce FOLLOWING our Constitution as it currently is.
