this is in reference to SSB1065, CELLPHONES DURING INSTRUCTIONAL TIME. I believe and have commenetd previous about this bill. We should follow a fellow state of Louisiana. Where it is not allowed for a student to have in there possession a cell phone or smart watch during the instructional day. That would mean student are not allowed to bring those devices into the school at all. If we allow even the slim chance of the students to have them we will continue to have the same issues we are having in schools today. I am a school resource officer and have seen first hand the effects that cell phones have on our students. PLEASE CONSIDER FOLLOWING THE STATE OF LOUISIANA.
