This is a good bill regarding the discipline of veterinarians that can be stinkers. It's good to see that constitutional rights of due process are adhered to to a certain degree.I do question lines 25 26 on page 27. Perhaps clarifying that advising people to care for their sick or injured animal using various techniques. Would that constitute unlawfully practicing veterinary medicine? Should that be specified?If there are funds remaining after repaying the department, who is awarded those monies? The owner gets nothing? It is an understood that more than likely there would not be left over funds due to all the expenses and court costs. Based on knowledge in the dog world of seizures, costs can be very easily padded. Providing incentive for seizures. The party awarded the animals in turn receives compensation in several different forms coupled with the sale of the animals. Principal remains the same.
