As a resident in Story County with 3 Supervisors all residing in or within a few miles of Ames, I'd like representation for rural towns in the county! We don't want buying to small communities, we want bridges that are safe. Please vote yes so all people have a supervisor that knows our needs and communities.

As a former longtime resident of Black Hawk County, I have observed that almost always the 5 supervisors on the county board are from Waterloo or Cedar Falls. I believe that using the Plan III supervisor representation would provide a higher probability of electing someone who actually lives in the rural part of the county. This bill would increase of the probability that counties that are dominated by large metropolitan areas have rural representation on their boards. I urge you to vote yes to recommend passage of HF127 to the full House State Government Committee.
