I have been a coach and mentor for robotics teams for 7 years. This bill while not costing the state anything will allow us to be able to fund robotics teams and competitions in areas from the federal Perkins funds where fundraising is not a feasible solution to pay for such expenses. Please vote FOR the bill.

Dear Representatives, I am Avika Rastogi, a sophomore from Dallas CenterGrimes High School. I am on a robotics team, the Atomic Narwhals. On Monday, February 3, 2025, students from our team had the opportunity to attend the Senate subcommittee meeting, where they met and spoke with many senators. The bill has passed through the subcommittee and is now awaiting action from the education committee on the floor.I am writing to you to advocate for bill HF204, which is set to be discussed in the House subcommittee meeting tomorrow. We urge you to vote in support of bill HF204 and keep advocating for it to pass through the House Education Committee and the floor.
