No selfrespecting academic would take an appointment in such a school. Theyd be laughingstocks in higher education. This is a wasted proposal to create a leech a protected school of strictly reactionary thought attached to the R1 with money that could not be allocated to the wider school and a Dean with no responsibility to the wider university. This is Republican revenge for some having the audacity to teach inclusive of perspectives of women and people of color, what they call CRT or DEI" and calling out the Republican majority legislature for their failure to address water quality with their research. They want to call their billionaire donor sink the school of intellectual freedom when it will be anything but.Terry trying to still be relevant made the intent behind this bill crystal clear referring to us as all "socialists". How hypocritical when he used to make a huge deal of having the Russiand and Chinese we hosted in Iowa visit our colleges as the capstone of their visits.

I went to a school that already offers everything listed in Section 4. It was called college.
