We support the passage of HSB53 with a recommended amendment. Is it possible to include an ethical behavior agreement between professors and the institution defining and outlining ethical conduct? And if the agreement is broken it will result in termination. In this day and age when there is so much resistance, it is important that instructors hired to teach a certain field of study know up front at the start of employment that prohibited instruction identified as DEI and CRT will not be tolerated. DEI and CRT in any form must be considered unethical and severely reprimanded with consequences agreed to by the instructor, professor or faculty.
