We need to do what is best for our IACDAC & CCO Members and employees so that the members receives adequate and appropriate services in order to meet their needs. The current system is improving but there is a lot more that we can improve on such as employment, education and within our Medicaid in Iowa. Iowa should be leaders in the country showing data that it works. We need to remove the waiver cap and in addition we need to implement, sign, and pass State Representative Josh Turek's proposal "Work Without Worry bill" as soon as possible and continue to improve upon the HOME Committee meetings to ensure that our States Medicaid program works for all based upon needs of the person with a disability and the provider and/or employees.
