It is common sense regarding mature wild animals. However, what harm is there in people coming in contact with a baby animal being held by a keeper where people can pet it? What about the elephant or camel rides? What about educational exhibits where people can hold what would be considered a wild creature, such as reptiles?I would strongly urge an amendment be made as such. Whatever happened to common sense? Letting people make their own choices? What happened to the claim of less governmental control? What's the big rush for this piece of legislation? How can people make it to the capitol in time for a subcommittee hearing when there is so little notice? I strongly urge a 'no' vote on this bill as written.
