I am not sure that I see the reasoning behind this bill. Currently, a person with a bow license has nearly three months to fill their tag. A person with a gun license has either five or nine days (depending on which season they can hunt) to fill their tag. Why is the bow hunter with an unfilled tag able to use it to hunt under this situation when the gun hunter with an unfilled tag not able to use theirs? I feel that if a person wants to hunt an additional season that they should have to purchase an additional license. I sincerely hope that this bill is not a thinly veiled attempt to promote the sales of crossbows. Thank you for your consideration of my comments.

This bill makes no sense. If you want to hunt in the later seasons, buy the appropriate license that is already available.Thank You
