First I would like to thank Rep. Anderson, Hansen, and Cohoon for filing HF 519 regarding the congressional district system. As a high school student it is great to see something that I advocated for making its way through the system. With that being said, I would like to see this passed to make sure our electoral votes are evenly distributed. The Winner Take all system is simply inadequate and the legislation before is the best way to fix it without completely abolishing the electoral college.
