State Policy for Guardians and Conservators Study Committee (J)
Charge
To review the current role and function of volunteer guardians and conservators, report on the need for guardians and conservators and the reasons for a shortage of persons willing to serve as volunteer guardians and conservators, recommend improvements to increase the number of volunteer guardians and conservators to assure that persons who are permanently or temporarily incapacitated and cannot make decisions regarding health care, money management, or independent living will have access to volunteer guardians and conservators.
