Health Care Services Study Committee (J)
Charge
To study and make recommendations regarding the accessibility of affordable, quality health care services to all Iowans, with special attention to the uninsured, underinsured, and rural populations. Areas of investigation should include but not be limited to expanded reimbursement mechanisms, including case management, tax credits for charity care, mandatory Medicare and Medicaid assignment, health education programs, and implementation of agricultural health programs.
