Senator Iverson moved the adoption of Senate Resolution 39,
which motion prevailed by a voice vote.
INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTION
Senate Resolution 40, by Iverson, Gaskill, Veenstra, Johnson,
Fraise, Kibbie, and Gronstal, a resolution requesting the Department
of Economic Development and the department’s director to continue
efforts to foster and grow the animal life science product industry in
Iowa.
Read first time and referred to committee on Rules and
Administration.
RECESS
On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 6:10 p.m.
until the completion of a meeting of the committee on Rules and
Administration.
RECONVENED
The Senate reconvened at 6:15 p.m., President Kramer presiding.

Final Bill Action: SENATE RESOLUTION 40, a resolution requesting the
Department of Economic Development and the department’s director to continue
efforts to foster and grow the animal life science product industry in Iowa.
Recommendation: DO PASS.
Final Vote: Ayes, 11: Iverson, Kramer, Gronstal, Boettger, Courtney, Drake,
Dvorsky, Gaskill, Putney, Ragan, and Sievers. Nays, none. Absent, none.
Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.

Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
for consideration Senate Resolution 40.
