have passed the House and the title was agreed to.

HOUSE FILE 345 WITHDRAWN

Roberts of Carroll asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw House File 345 from further consideration by the House.

IMMEDIATE MESSAGES

Klemme of Plymouth asked and received unanimous consent that
the following bills be immediately messaged to the Senate: House
Files 455, 457 and 558.

House File 534, a bill for an act providing for the reorganization
of certain state departments by establishing a department of
administrative services, making related changes, providing penalties,
making appropriations, and providing an effective date, was taken up
for consideration.

Elgin of Linn offered the following amendment H-1108 filed by him
and moved its adoption:

1 Amend House File 534 as follows:
2 1. Page 9, line 10, by inserting after the figure
3 "1." the following: "a."
4 2. Page 9, line 10, by inserting after the word
5 "funds" the following: "as specifically authorized by
6 this section".
7 3. Page 9, line 11, by striking the words "the
8 services" and inserting the following: "specified
9 services".
10 4. Page 9, line 22, by striking the figure "2."
11 and inserting the following: "b.".
12 5. Page 9, line 33, by striking the figure "3."
13 and inserting the following: "c.".
14 6. Page 10, line 2, by striking the letter and
15 figure "4. a.", and inserting the following: "d.
16 (1)".
