ADOPTION OF HOUSE RESOLUTION 26
Boggess of Taylor called up for consideration House Resolution
26, a resolution honoring the City of Clarinda on its sesquicentennial
year, and moved its adoption.
The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.
ADOPTION OF SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 3
Lukan of Dubuque called up for consideration Senate
Concurrent Resolution 3, a resolution requesting the
establishment of standing Senate and House subcommittees on
veterans affairs, and moved its adoption.
The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.
EXPLANATION OF VOTE
I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on February 27,
2003. Had I been present, I would have voted "aye" on Senate File
211.
