COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS
MR. SPEAKER: The Chief Clerk of the House respectfully reports
that the following committee recommendations have been received

COMMITTEE ON COMMERCE, REGULATION AND LABOR
Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 104), permitting written demand via
regular mail prior to an action under the uniform commercial code for recovery of civil
damages for a dishonored check, draft, or order, when supported by an affidavit of
service.
Fiscal Note is not required.
Recommended Do Pass February 25, 2003.
COMMITTEE ON HUMAN RESOURCES
Committee Bill (Formerly House File 64), relating to modification of a child
custody order based on exposure of the child to a cohabiting intimate partner.

COMMITTEE ON JUDICIARY
Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 54), relating to the representation of
indigent persons and indigent defense claims.
