MADAM PRESIDENT: I was necessarily absent from the Senate chamber on
May 28, 2002, when the votes were taken on House File 2626, amendment S-5519 to
House File 2627, and amendment S-5521 to Senate Resolution 169. Had I been
present, I would have voted "Aye" on all. In addition, I was necessarily absent from the
Senate chamber on May 28, 2002, when the votes were taken on Senate Resolution 169
and House Files 2625 and 2627. Had I been present, I would have voted "Nay" on all.
