The motion prevailed by a voice vote and the Chair appointed as such committee Senators Iverson and Kramer. COMMITTEE TO NOTIFY THE HOUSE Senator Iverson moved that a committee be appointed to notify the House that the Senate was ready to adjourn sine die in accordance with House Concurrent Resolution 39. COMMITTEE FROM THE HOUSE A committee from the House appeared and announced that the House was ready to adjourn sine die. REPORT OF COMMITTEE TO NOTIFY THE HOUSE Senator Kramer reported that the committee appointed to notify the House that the Senate was ready to adjourn sine die had performed its duty. The report was received and the committee was discharged. REPORT OF COMMITTEE TO NOTIFY THE GOVERNOR Senator Iverson reported that the committee appointed to notify the Governor that the Senate was ready to adjourn sine die had performed its duty. The report was received and the committee was discharged. FINAL ADJOURNMENT By virtue of House Concurrent Resolution 39, duly adopted, the day of May 8, 2001, having arrived, President Kramer declared the 2001 Regular Session of the Seventy-ninth General Assembly adjourned sine die.
