  BILL SIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR

  A communication was received announcing that on April 19, 2001,
  the Governor approved and transmitted to the Secretary of State the
  following bill:

  S.F. 465 - Creating a fund for the use of the state department of
  transportation to
  purchase soydiesel fuel for use in its vehicles and providing an effective
  date.

  INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTION

  Senate Concurrent Resolution 25, by Miller and Fraise, a
  concurrent resolution urging the Governor to appoint a commission to
  develop design proposals for Iowa's participation in the United States
  Mint's 50 State Quarters Program, and to direct the commission to
  develop designs incorporating a symbol for the state of Iowa.

  Read first time under Rule 28 and referred to committee on Rules
  and Administration.
