  MADAM PRESIDENT:  I am directed to inform your honorable body that the
  House has on April 19, 2001, passed the following bill in which the
  concurrence of the
  Senate is asked:

  House File 718, a bill for an act appropriating funds to the
  department of economic development, certain board of regents
  institutions, the department of workforce development, and the public
  employment relations board, making related statutory changes, and
  providing effective dates.

  Read first time and referred to committee on Appropriations.

  ADJOURNMENT

  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate adjourned at 7:57 p.m.
  until 9:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2001.
