IMMEDIATE MESSAGES

Rants of Woodbury asked and received unanimous consent that
the following bills be immediately messaged to the Senate: Senate
File 511 and Senate Concurrent Resolution 24.

On motion by Rants of Woodbury, the House was recessed at 10:18
a.m., until 4:00 p.m.

AFTERNOON SESSION

The House reconvened at 4:29 p.m., Speaker Siegrist in the chair.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS

House File 720, by committee on ways and means, a bill for an
act relating to the taking of fish and game by increasing fees for
nonresident hunting, fishing, fur harvesting, and related licenses,
providing for additional licenses and fees, and providing effective and
applicability dates.

Read first time and placed on the ways and means calendar.

House File 721, by committee on ways and means, a bill for an
act excluding certain business property from being considered
abandoned property under the state's disposition of unclaimed
property law.

Read first time and placed on the ways and means calendar.

House File 722, by committee on ways and means, a bill for an
act relating to tonnage fees and moneys in the solid waste account of
the groundwater protection fund, and providing an effective date.

Read first time and placed on the ways and means calendar.

House File 723, by committee on ways and means, a bill for an
act exempting irrigation equipment from sales and use taxes,
providing limited refunds, and including effective and retroactive
applicability date provisions.

Read first time and placed on the ways and means calendar.
