HOUSE STUDY BILL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS
H.S.B. 227 Agriculture
Relating to the powers of the Iowa agricultural development
authority to provide financing for processing of agricultural products
and livestock production operations and to undertake and support
agricultural education programs in the state and removing the
requirements to file annual reports, to establish a soil conservation
loan program and to have its members and the executive director give
bond.
H.S.B. 228 Agriculture
Providing for a weed-free certification program for forage or mulch,
and establishing fees.
H.S.B. 229 Judiciary
Relating to the amount of contributions to and accumulated increases
in the value of certain retirement plans which are exempt from
creditors and providing an effective date.
H.S.B. 230 Judiciary
Limiting the liability of the department of education, school boards,
school districts, area education agencies, or employees of the
department, districts, or agencies.
H.S.B. 231 Ways and Means
Relating to deductions under the individual income tax for dentists
providing services and procedures for medical assistance patients and
including effective and retroactive applicability date provisions.
H.S.B. 232 Ways and Means
Relating to the tax rate on the adjusted gross receipts from gambling
games at certain racetrack enclosures.
