INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House Joint Resolution 8, by Drake, a joint resolution proposing
an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Iowa to change the
length of term of office for members of the Iowa House of
Representatives.
Read first time and referred to committee on state government.
House File 317, by Quirk, a bill for an act relating to the
disregard of certain countable income in determining the amount of
spenddown under the medically needy program.
Read first time and referred to committee on human resources.
House File 318, by T. Taylor and Lensing, a bill for an act
prohibiting state agencies from knowingly purchasing products
manufactured by certain businesses.
Read first time and referred to committee on labor and
industrial relations.
House File 319, by Osterhaus and Hatch, a bill for an act relating
to the provision of health insurance coverage to children.
Read first time and referred to committee on commerce and
regulation.
