QUORUM CALL
A non-record roll call was requested to determine that a quorum
was present. The vote revealed eighty-one members present,
nineteen absent.
CONSIDERATION OF BILLS
Regular Calendar
House File 179, a bill for an act relating to excluding from
confinement dogs used by police or correctional officers, was taken up
for consideration.
Speaker Siegrist in the chair at 1:15 p.m.
Seng of Scott offered the following amendment H-1046 filed by him
and moved its adoption:

1 Amend House File 179 as follows:
2 1. Page 1, line 10, by striking the words "two
3 weeks" and inserting the following: "two weeks ten
4 days".
Amendment H-1046 was adopted.
Shoultz of Black Hawk offered the following amendment H-1043
filed by him and moved its adoption:

1 Amend House File 179 as follows:
2 1. Page 1, line 13, by inserting after the word
3 "dog" the following: "or a horse used by a law
4 enforcement agency, that is".
