HOUSE STUDY BILL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENT
H.S.B. 143 Appropriations
Restricting the expenditure of moneys from the general fund of the
state for out-of-state travel by members and employees of the general
assembly and providing an effective date.
COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS
MR. SPEAKER: The Chief Clerk of the House respectfully reports
that the following committee recommendations have been received
and are on file in the office of the Chief Clerk.

COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURE
Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 103), to request that the Congress of
the United States maintain its commitment to clean air and the ethanol industry, by
maintaining the oxygenate requirement in the federal Clean Air Act that promotes the
use of ethanol in reformulated gasoline, and urging the United States Environmental
Protection Agency to resist California's attempt to waive the oxygenate requirement in
that state.
Fiscal Note is not required.
Recommended Do Pass February 7, 2001.
COMMITTEE ON JUDICIARY
Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 68), establishing child endangerment
offenses for certain criminal acts committed in the presence of a child or minor.
Fiscal Note is required.
Recommended Amend and Do Pass February 8, 2001.
Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 69), relating to the verification of a
uniform citation and complaint issued by a law enforcement agency.
Fiscal Note is not required.
Recommended Do Pass February 8, 2001.
