Rants of Woodbury asked and received unanimous consent that
Senate File 65 be deferred and that the bill retain its place on the
calendar. (Amendment H-1024, as amended, pending)
MESSAGE FROM THE SENATE
The following message was received from the Senate:
Mr. Speaker: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the Senate has on
January 25, 2001, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the Senate was
asked:
House File 43, a bill for an act relating to the rulemaking authority of the natural
resource commission regarding the taking and possession of migratory birds.

On motion by Rants of Woodbury, the House was recessed at 10:53

Winckler, a bill for an act relating to the phasing in of an exemption
from state sales and use taxes on the gross receipts from the sale,
furnishing, or service of metered gas and heating fuel used by
residential customers and including an effective date.

House File 129, by Tyrrell, a bill for an act relating to cities'
authority to set speed limits on city streets.
