Amendment H-1003, as amended, lost.
Mascher of Johnson offered amendment H-1004 filed by her as
follows:
H-1004
1 Amend House File 43 as follows:
2 1. Page 1, line 10, by inserting after the word
3 "section." the following: "The commission shall
4 annually review the population of migratory birds and
5 prohibit hunting seasons for migratory birds with the
6 three lowest populations."
Mascher of Johnson offered the following amendment H-1008, to
amendment H-1004, filed by her from the floor and moved its
adoption:
H-1008
1 Amend the amendment, H-1004, to House File 43 as
2 follows:
3 1. Page 1, by striking lines 4 through 6 and
4 inserting the following: "prohibit hunting seasons
5 for the American woodcock and the sora rail and shall
6 annually review the populations of other migratory
7 birds."
Speaker Siegrist in the chair at 5:00 p.m.
Amendment H-1008 was adopted.
On motion by Mascher of Johnson, amendment H-1004, as
amended, lost.
The House stood at ease at 5:45 p.m., until the fall of the gavel.
The House resumed session at 5:48 p.m., Speaker Siegrist in the
chair.
Weidman of Cass moved that the bill be read a last time now and
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read
a last time.
