The House met pursuant to adjournment at 8:45 a.m., Speaker
Siegrist in the chair.
Prayer was offered by Dr. J. Albert Calaway, pastor of Heartland
Assembly of God Church, Ankeny.
The Journal of Tuesday, January 16, 2001 was approved.
ADOPTION OF HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 3
Grundberg of Polk called up for consideration House Concurrent
Resolution 3, a concurrent resolution supporting the admission of the
Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to the North Atlantic
Treaty Organization, and moved its adoption.
The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.
