1 Amend House File 2385 as follows:
2 1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
3 following:
4 "Section 1. Section 142C.15, subsection 4,
5 paragraph a, Code 1999, is amended to read as follows:
6 a. Not more than twenty percent of the moneys in
7 the fund annually may be expended in the form of
8 grants to state agencies or to nonprofit legal
9 entities with an interest in anatomical gift public
10 awareness and transplantation to conduct public
11 awareness projects or to research and develop a
12 statewide organ and tissue donor registry. Grants
13 shall be made based upon the submission of a grant
14 application by an agency or entity to conduct a public
15 awareness project or to research and develop a
16 statewide organ and tissue donor registry."
17 2. By renumbering as necessary.

Amendment H-8084 was adopted.

Blodgett of Cerro Gordo moved that the bill be read a last time
now and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill
was read a last time.
