1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the

1 4 "Section 1. Section 142C.15, subsection 4,
1 5 paragraph a, Code 1999, is amended to read as follows:
1 6 a. Not more than twenty percent of the moneys in
1 7 the fund annually may be expended in the form of
1 8 grants to state agencies or to nonprofit legal
1 9 entities with an interest in anatomical gift public
1 10 awareness and transplantation to conduct public
1 11 awareness projects or to research and develop a
1 12 statewide organ and tissue donor registry. Grants
1 13 shall be made based upon the submission of a grant
1 14 application by an agency or entity to conduct a public
1 15 awareness project or to research and develop a
1 16 statewide organ and tissue donor registry."
1 17 #2. By renumbering as necessary.
