IMMEDIATE MESSAGES
Rants of Woodbury asked and received unanimous consent that
Senate File 2193 and Senate Concurrent Resolution 103 be
immediately messaged to the Senate.
EXPLANATIONS OF VOTE
I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on the morning
of February 24, 2000. Had I been present, I would have voted "aye"
on Senate File 2193 and Senate Concurrent Resolution 103.
BAUDLER of Adair
I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on February 24,
2000. Had I been present, I would have voted "aye" on Senate File
2193 and Senate Concurrent Resolution 103.

BILLS SIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR
A communication was received from the Governor announcing that
on February 23, 2000, he approved and transmitted to the Secretary
of State the following bills:
House File 686, an act providing registration requirements and establishing a scope
of authority for dental assistants, and providing an effective date.
House File 2106, an act prohibiting motor vehicle manufacturers, distributors,
wholesalers, and importers from being licensed as, owning an interest in, operating, or
controlling a motor vehicle dealer, providing exceptions, and making a penalty
applicable.
