INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
House Joint Resolution 2003, by Larkin, Cohoon, Johnson,
Heaton, and Wise, a joint resolution designating the channel catfish
as the official state fish for the State of Iowa.
Read first time and referred to committee on state government.
House File 2047, by T. Taylor, a bill for an act raising the
compulsory education attendance age.
Read first time and referred to committee on education.
House File 2048, by Millage, a bill for an act requiring the state
director of human services to seek approval of the United States
secretary of health and human services in establishing local
disbursement units for the collection and disbursement of child
support payments.
Read first time and referred to committee on human resources.
House File 2049, by Reynolds, a bill for an act relating to the
enhancement of penalties for certain fraudulent or criminal acts.
Read first time and referred to committee on judiciary.
