  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
  for consideration House File 224.

  House File 224

  On motion of Senator Drake, House File 224, a bill for an act
  relating to qualifications of commissioners for a city, county, or joint
  memorial hospital, with report of committee recommending
  amendment and passage, was taken up for consideration.

  Senator Drake offered amendment S-3096 filed by the committee
  on State Government on March 17, 1999, to page 1 and to the title
  page of the bill.

  President pre tempore Redfern took the chair at 3:53 p.m.
