  Senate File 1, by Angelo and Maddox, a bill for an act relating
  to the display of a safety flag by a vessel towing a water skier and
  providing a penalty.

  Read first time and referred to committee on Natural
  Resources and Environment.

  Senate File 2, by Tinsman, a bill for an act relating to the
  exemption from state individual income tax for pension or
  retirement income received and providing a retroactive
  applicability date.
  Read first time and referred to committee on Ways and Means.

  Senate File 3, by Zieman, a bill for an act setting the time for
  the closing of precinct polling places.

  Read first time and referred to committee on State
  Government.

  RECESS

  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 12:06
  p.m., until 1:30 p.m.

  AFTERNOON SESSION

  The Senate reconvened at 1:38 p.m., President Kramer
  presiding.

  IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
  House Concurrent Resolution 1, 2, and 3 be immediately
  messaged to the House.

  COMMITTEE FROM THE HOUSE

  A committee from the House appeared and announced that
  pursuant to law the House was ready to receive the Senate in
