The House rose and expressed its appreciation.
ADOPTION OF HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 25
Siegrist of Pottawattamie asked and received unanimous consent 
for the immediate consideration of House Concurrent Resolution 25, a 
concurrent resolution to provide for adjournment sine die, as follows 
and moved its adoption:
 1       HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 25
 2                 by Siegrist and Schrader
 3   A House Concurrent Resolution to provide for
 4     adjournment sine die.
 5     Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives, The
 6   Senate Concurring, That when adjournment is had on
 7   Thursday, April 29, 1999, it shall be the final
 8   adjournment of the 1999 Regular Session of the
9 Seventy-eighth General Assembly.
The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.
EXPLANATION OF VOTE
I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on April 21, 
1999. Had I been present, I would have voted "aye" on House File 
343.
