Siegrist of Pottawattamie asked and received unanimous consent 
to suspend the rules for the immediate consideration of Senate File 
366.

Appropriations Calendar
Senate File 366, a bill for an act making a supplemental appro-
priation for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1998, for replacement of 
certain embedded chips in the technology and equipment of state de-
partments and providing an effective date, with report of committee 
recommending passage, was taken up for consideration.
Millage of Scott moved that the bill be read a last time now and 
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read 
a last time.

corrections, with report of committee recommending amendment and 
passage, was taken up for consideration.
Bell of Jasper offered the following amendment H-1115 filed by 
the committee on judiciary and moved its adoption:

 1     Amend Senate File 102, as passed by the Senate, as
 2   follows:
 3     1.  Page 9, by striking lines 1 through 4.
 4     2.  By renumbering as necessary.
The committee amendment H-1115 was adopted.
