Amendment H?1117 was adopted. SENATE FILE 361 SUBSTITUTED FOR HOUSE FILE 514 Garman of Story asked and received unanimous consent to sub- stitute Senate File 361 for House File 514. Senate File 361, a bill for an act relating to enforcement, prevention, education, and treatment for substance abuse and sexual abuse, and providing appropriations, was taken up for consideration. Murphy of Dubuque offered the following amendment H?1084 filed by him and moved its adoption: H-1084 1 Amend Senate File 361, as amended, passed, and 2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows: 3 1. Page 1, by inserting after line 12 the 4 following: 5 "It is the intent of the general assembly that by 6 fiscal year 2001-2002, moneys shall be appropriated to 7 provide for a total of eighteen additional narcotics 8 enforcement agents." Amendment H?1084 lost. Thomson of Linn asked and received unanimous consent to with- draw amendment H-1131 filed by Thomson, et al., on March 18, 1999. Garman of Story moved that the bill be read a last time now and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read a last time. On the question "Shall the bill pass?"
