1 1 Section 1. The amendments to 571 Iowa administrative code,
1 2 rule 87.1, subrules 2 and 3, as appearing in ARC 7935A, as
1 3 published in the Iowa administrative bulletin, volume XX,
1 4 number 21, dated April 8, 1998, p. 1868, are nullified. The
1 5 administrative code editor shall republish the text of
1 6 subrules 2 and 3 as the text existed in 571 Iowa
1 7 administrative code, rule 87.1 before April 8, 1998.
1 8 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This joint resolution, being
1 9 deemed of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.
1 10 EXPLANATION
1 11 This joint resolution nullifies two amendments to an
1 12 administrative rule of the department of natural resources
1 13 which prohibit the commercial harvesting of washboard mussels
1 14 and correspondingly strikes the legal minimum size of
1 15 washboard mussels that may be harvested.
1 16 This joint resolution is effective upon enactment.
