1 1 Section 1. JUDICIAL DISTRICT DEPARTMENTS OF CORRECTIONAL
1 2 SERVICES. There is appropriated from the general fund of the
1 3 state to the department of corrections for the fiscal year
1 4 beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, the
1 5 following amounts, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be
1 6 allocated as follows:
1 7 a. For the first judicial district department of
1 8 correctional services to address field services workload
1 9 formula needs and to provide 5.00 additional FTEs:
1 10 .................................................. $ 204,675
1 11 b. For the second judicial district department of
1 12 correctional services to address field services workload formula
1 13 needs and to provide 1.00 additional FTE:
1 14 .................................................. $ 40,935
1 15 c. For the third judicial district department of
1 16 correctional services to address field services workload
1 17 formula needs and to provide 4.00 additional FTEs:
1 18 .................................................. $ 160,740
1 19 d. For the fifth judicial district department of
1 20 correctional services to address field services workload
1 21 formula needs and to provide 5.00 additional FTEs:
1 22 .................................................. $ 204,675
1 23 e. For the sixth judicial district department of
1 24 correctional services to address field services workload
1 25 formula needs and to provide 4.00 additional FTEs:
1 26 .................................................. $ 163,740
1 27 f. For the seventh judicial district department of
1 28 correctional services to address field services workload
1 29 formula needs and to provide 1.00 additional FTE:
1 30 .................................................. $ 36,354
1 31 g. For the eighth judicial district department of
1 32 correctional services to address field services workload
1 33 formula needs and to provide 3.00 additional FTEs:

1 35 EXPLANATION
2 1 This bill appropriates money from the general fund of the
2 2 state to the department of corrections for the fiscal year
2 3 beginning July 1, 2000, for use by the judicial district
2 4 departments of correctional services to provide additional
2 5 staff to address field services workload formula needs in the
2 6 first, second, third, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth
2 7 judicial districts.
