1 1 Amend the amendment, S-5298, to House File 2502, as
1 2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 1, by striking lines 10 and 11 and
1 5 inserting the following: "July 1, 1999, expenditures
1 6 identified in section 3 of this Act from the rural
1 7 services fund,".
1 8 #2. Page 1, line 18, by striking the words "final
1 9 court decision pertaining to" and inserting the
1 10 following: "final disposition of".
1 11 #3. Page 1, by striking line 23 and inserting the
1 12 following: "last.
1 13 4. However, this Act shall also apply to Lyon
1 14 county and Story county upon disposition of their
1 15 respective litigation pending before the district
1 16 courts of Lyon or Story county addressing the funding
1 17 of expenditures specified in section 3 of this Act,
1 18 respectively. However, subsection 3 shall apply to
1 19 Lyon or Story county if this Act is inconsistent with
1 20 the applicable final order or ruling in each case."
