  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 23 and 24 and
  1  4 inserting the following:  "state shall be an eligible
  1  5 elector.  The official shall be a resident of the".
  1  6    #2.  Page 1, line 27, by striking the word
  1  7 "exercised" and inserting the following:  "exercised,
  1  8 as of the date of the election at which the office is
  1  9 to be filled".
