1 1 Amend Senate File 2082, as passed by the Senate, as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 14 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. . SUPPLEMENTAL AID. If the state percent
1 6 of growth established for the budget year beginning
1 7 July 1, 2001, results in an amount of state foundation
1 8 aid which is lower than the amount projected to be
1 9 received for the budget year beginning July 1, 2001,
1 10 based on estimates in existence on the effective date
1 11 of this Act, there is appropriated from the general
1 12 fund of the state to the department of education for
1 13 the school budget year beginning July 1, 2001, an
1 14 amount sufficient to provide supplemental aid payments
1 15 equal to the difference between the two. The
1 16 additional funding received is miscellaneous income to
1 17 the district and shall be paid in proportion to the
1 18 enrollment of each district."
