  HOUSE AMENDMENT CONSIDERED

  Senate File 2406

  Senator Boettger called up for consideration Senate File 2406, a
  bill for an act establishing a school ready children grant program to
  be administered by community empowerment area boards and the
  Iowa empowerment board, making an appropriation, and providing
  an effective date, amended by the House in House amendment
  S-5439 filed March 31, 1998.

  Senator Boettger offered amendment S-5670, filed by Senators
  Boettger, et al., from the floor to pages 1, 4, 5, and 7-12 of House
  amendment S-5439, and moved its adoption.
