  Senator Halvorson offered amendment S-5672, filed by him from
  the floor to page 95 of the bill, and moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-5672 lost by a voice vote.

  Senator Hansen moved the adoption of amendment S-5665 by
  Senators Hansen, et al., to page 78 of the bill, previously deferred.

  Amendment S-5665 was adopted by a voice vote.

  LEAVE OF ABSENCE

  Leave of absence was granted as follows:

  BUSINESS PENDING

  House File 2496

  The Senate resumed consideration of House File 2496, a bill for an
  act relating to public retirement systems, and providing effective,
  implementation, and applicability dates.

  Senator Rittmer moved that the bill be read the last time now and
  placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
  the bill was read the last time.
