  The Chair welcomed forty-eight fifth grade students from Grant
  Elementary from Oskaloosa, Iowa, accompanied by Mrs. Mattix and
  Mrs. Johnson.  Senator Hedge.

  BUSINESS PENDING

  Senate File 2280

  The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 2280 and
  amendment S-5633 by Senator Rittmer to pages 3 and 4 of House
  amendment S-5563.

  Senator Rittmer moved the adoption of amendment S-5633 to
  House amendment S-5563.

  Amendment S-5633 was adopted by a voice vote.

  Senator Rittmer moved that the Senate concur in the House
  amendment as amended.

  The motion prevailed by a voice vote and the Senate concurred in
  the House amendment as amended.

  Senator Rittmer moved that the bill as amended by the House,
  further amended and concurred in by the Senate, be read the last
  time now and placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a
  voice vote, and the bill was read the last time.

  On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (S.F. 2280), the vote was:
