AFTERNOON SESSION The Senate reconvened at 1:13 p.m., Senator Boettger presiding. QUORUM CALL Senator Iverson requested a non-record roll call to determine that a quorum was present. The vote revealed 36 present, 14 absent, and a quorum present. President Kramer took the chair at 1:22 p.m. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up for immediate consideration Senate Concurrent Resolution 111. Senate Concurrent Resolution 111 On motion of Senator Neuhauser, Senate Concurrent Resolution 111, a concurrent resolution honoring Ms. Barbara Grohe for being named the 1998 National Superintendent of the Year, with report of committee recommending passage, was taken up for consideration. Senator Neuhauser moved the adoption of Senate Concurrent Resolution 111, which motion prevailed by a voice vote. SPECIAL GUEST Senator Neuhauser presented National Superintendent of the Year Barbara Grohe, who addressed the Senate with brief remarks. IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that Senate Concurrent Resolution 111 be immediately messaged to the House.
