  Senate File 2210

  The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File, a bill for an act
  requiring a peace officer to assist an abused person in removing
  clothing, medical items, and other personal effects for the immediate
  need of the abused person and any children in that person's care,
  previously deferred.

  Senator Connolly offered amendment S-5137 filed by him on
  March 4, 1998, to the title page of the bill and moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-5137 was adopted by a voice vote.

  Senator Boettger moved that the bill be read the last time now and
  placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
  the bill was read the last time.
