  SIMILAR BILLS RECEIVED

  On March 5, 1998 , House File 2189 was received and attached to
  similar Senate File 2242 on the Senate calendar and House File
  2468 was received and attached to similar Senate File 2282 on the
  Senate calendar.

  CONSIDERATION OF BILLS
  (Regular Calendar)

  Senator Hedge asked and received unanimous consent to take up
  for consideration Senate File 2324.

  Senate File 2324

  On motion of Senator Black, Senate File 2324, a bill for an act
  relating to the allocation of cost-share moneys as financial incentives
  to encourage summer construction of permanent soil and water
  conservation practices, was taken up for consideration.

  Senator Black moved that the bill be read the last time now and
  placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
  the bill was read the last time.

  On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (S.F. 2324), the vote was:
