INTRODUCTION OF BILL House File 2560, by committee on ways and means, a bill for an act relating to aircraft registration fees. Read first time and placed on the ways and means calendar. IMMEDIATE MESSAGE Gipp of Winneshiek asked and received unanimous consent that House File 2545 be immediately messaged to the Senate. Ways and Means Calendar The House resumed consideration of Senate File 2416, a bill for an act relating to the replacement of property tax on property associated with electricity and natural gas with excise taxes associated with electricity and natural gas, establishing a statewide property tax on property associated with electricity and natural gas, providing for a special utility property tax levy or tax credit, providing for the Act's retroactive applicability, providing an effective date, and providing penalties, previously deferred, and amendment H-9205C (found on page 1683 of the House Journal.) Rants of Woodbury moved the adoption of amendment H-9205C. Amendment H-9205C was adopted, placing amendment H-9184 filed by Gries, et al., on April 15, 1998, out of order. Jacobs of Polk offered the following amendment H-9219 filed by her and Connors of Polk from the floor and moved its adoption: H-9219 1 Amend Senate File 2416, as amended, passed, and 2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
